Kevin L. Pattison grew up on his family farm in Lemberg, SK where he spent his youth working on the farm and family business, Pattison Bros Agro. After high school Kevin traveled to Calgary to attend the University of Calgary where he earned his Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science with a Minor in Business. Starting as a summer student in 1998 Kevin began his career with Clarity Solutions Inc.

Over the last 10 years at Clarity Kevin has had an opportunity to work in many business sectors, with many major corporations around the world.    Kevin’s focus has always been on web based applications and information management, and he has completed many successful projects in this area.   Kevin’s role at Clarity has always been busy and diverse.  Kevin has been a Developer, Business Analyst, Database Administrator, Software Architect, and Manager/Mentor to many Clarity Staff.

In 2000 Kevin architected and developed what would become Clarity’s Content Manager.  After successful implementations of the Content Manager at Suncor Energy, Fording Coal, Dofasco Steel the product really took off.  The Clarity Content Manager has been a huge success at Clarity and has been deployed on over 200 websites and intranets worldwide.  Kevin has been instrumental in the direction and growth of the product, from all aspects including development, sales, implementation and support. Clarity Content Manager is currently a leader in information manager in the healthcare industry in Canada.

Over the years Kevin has worked with many Corporations and Charities to develop websites, intranets and customs applications.  Working with ORBIS International (www.orbis.org) has definitely been one of the highlights.  In addition to developing a multinational website and intranet, in 2002 Kevin architected a web based Telemedicine application.  The web based application allows ophthalmology professionals in developing countries to benefit from the knowledge and experience of ORBIS volunteer faculty. To date the system has provided treatment for over 5000 patients in 60 different countries.

In 2001 Kevin began working with Agri-Trend Agrology and converted a simple access database, into a powerful online agronomic business tool, MySCP Netware.   In 2002 the platform won an E-business of the Year award.  Throughout the years Kevin has been the architect and developer on the entire MySCP and Agri-Data Solution platform, adding functionality and scalability to grow the application with Agri-Trend’s Business.  Kevin’s background in agriculture and experience brought from other projects has been a huge advantage in developing software for Agri-Trend.

Kevin is very excited to be able to continue to expand and support the Agri-Trend platform with Agri-Trend Data Corp.

Kevin currently resides in Calgary with his wife Tara and daughters Brynn and Halli. When not working, Kevin enjoys hockey, golf, softball, camping and spending time with his family.
